Welcome back. This week, we continue in our series – “What Did Jesus Teach?”

This week, we will continue looking at What Jesus Taught About GOD THE FATHER. He is Sovereign.

So far, we have learned that Jesus taught a few remarkable things about Himself. He is God and the Messiah promised by the prophets. He also taught about His unique relationships to God the Father and with all of Mankind.

God is Love.

And, in our last podcast, we learned that Jesus taught that God is Righteous and Holy.

In this episode, we’ll pick up where we left off and move forward into a conversation about God’s Sovereignty.

He has COMPLETE AUTHORITY and He is ALL POWERFUL. Learn how this applies to your life, your personal Bible study and your efforts to share your faith with others.

Consider These Questions – Personal Assessment

God is Sovereign. What does that mean?

God is Omnipotent. What does that mean?

What does that mean to you? How do you approach God?

Based on the fact that He created the Earth and ALL that is in it, does He have a right to govern it as He pleases?

Have you accepted God’s Sovereignty and allowed Him to rule over your life?

Have you ever tried to explain this to someone else?

What Scriptures can you use to help understand this doctrine and share it with others?
