That’s why I figured I’d start the New Year – 2026 – by developing a new Devotional Guide to help those of you who are either new to prayer or want a better way to organize your prayer time.
When the Apostles asked Jesus to teach them to pray, He gave them a Simple Prayer Outline that we now know as The Lord’s Prayer.

Organize Your Prayer Time
Jesus didn’t give them the Lord’s Prayer to recite over and over, word for word. Instead, I believe He gave them, and us, a model to follow.
By following along with Jesus’ prayer, we learn:
- Who God Is
- What our attitude should be when we approach God to pray
- The forgiveness God offers us when we sin
- How God wants us to relate to others
- Gain a better understanding of God’s faithfulness to us
- The provision that God provide for our needs
- The protection God provides against evil
- and more
